Short "girls" Travel ( Ngliyep & Pantai Pasir Panjang, Malang)

What a life without traveling. This blog today will be about my last traveling journal to one of the beautiful beach in Malang. Before we decided which beach we want to visit, we decided the date. 5 May 2018 is the chosen day for what I may called short traveling. I went to the beach with 3 of my friends and their 2 sisters plus 1 friends from their sisters which mean there are 7 people in this trip and all of them are girl. This is one of my memorable trip because this is my first “girls trip” and this is my last trip with Hanik (one of my close friend) before she’s died.

Before I go down to explain how our short traveling is, I will introduce my trip companion. The first girl is Alicia A.K.A Aic. She’s the strongest girl in this trip and one of the reason is because she’s our “the only one” driver. Then there’s Chika, Hanik, Aya who is Aic’s sister, Aisya who is Hanik’s sister and the last one is Aya’s friend.

As I mentioned above that Aic is our “the only one” driver, we went to the beach by car. We left for the beach about 7 am. Since our destination is Malang and we lived in Surabaya we decide to pass the highway and buy some donuts also drink in the rest area. The silly thing that happen in this trip is we haven’t decided yet which beach we want to go in Malang and we decided it when we already in Malang kota. Here, all of us agree that the chosen beach for today is Ngliyep beach. This beach is located in Desa Kedungsalam, Donomulyo, Kedungsalam, Donomulyo, Malang, Jawa Timur 65167.

To be honest this beach is not as what I expected. It is not as beautiful as the picture on google. The sea water is tide, too many kids around, the beach is small because it is flanked by two large corals if I may quoted my friend’s sentence I’ll say “ the beach is not natural anymore and dirty.” At the moment I felt kinda disappointed but I don’t want this trip become dull so luckily one of my friend, Chika noticed that there is another beach beside this beach or you can say behind the big coral. So we walked to that beach which called Pantai Pasir Panjang.

As its name this beach is definitely long(er) than Ngeliyep beach. This cheered me up of course, I thought that this beach could be better. Moreover, things that I like from this beach is, it is quieter and clearer than Ngliyep. We decided to chill out in here, enjoyed the sand, listened to the sound of the wave and of course took some pictures for our social media. Since I cannot go to the beach every weekend I decided to lay down on the sand with my straw hat and listened to the music from my phone. I have some beach relaxed music recommendation which I’ll write on the next post.

We stayed on the beach from 12 pm until about 4.30 pm and we went back to home. If you feeling hungry on the beach there are several shops which sell food and drink and most of them are sell our best instant cup noodles Pop Mie. We heading back to Surabaya and have dinner in Malang. Yaps that’s one of my memorable trip with the girls and I really want to have trip with them again. Soon.

P.S :

- you need to pay for ticket before you enter the beach it is about +/- RP, 10.000 per person and Parking ticket

- there are so many bathroom and toilet

- it take about 4 hours to get there from Surabaya ( on Saturday)

- bring your favourite sunblock to protect your skin
